St. Francis Red Sonoma 2002 $8.29
RED’s succulent blend of Zinfandel, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Sangiovese expresses its fine Sonoma County heritage. It is a full-bodied wine saturated with ripe red fruit flavors and spicy aromas. A great versatile red — perfect for grilled foods.

Zaca Mesa Cuvée Z Santa Ynez 2001 $10.79
A wonderful blended wine. Each grape adds its own nuances: Grenache adds rich raspberry flavors; Mourvèdre brings notes of blueberry; Syrah, flavors of blackberry and ripe tannins; and Cinsaut offers a slight earthy/dusty note. Dry and medium-full bodied with aromas of ripe blackberry, cola, vanilla and a little horse blanket; soft, ripe and round with flavors of fresh berry, plum, dark cherry and cinnamon; supple tannins, juicy finish.

Far Niente Chardonnay Napa 2003 $39.99
Regal and opulent. Crisp, clean and intense, displaying spicy pear, pineapple and citrus notes that are complex and concentrated and a clean, grapefruit-skin edge on the finish. A touch of oaky vanilla flavor that adds to the depth and complexity.

Grgich Fume Blanc Napa 2004 $20.39

In a word, this wine is stunning. Floral and citrus bouquet, exuberant ripe pink grapefruit, spice, and the brisk acidity that make this wine such a good food partner or crisp and refreshing on a warm summer day. Extremely low yields in 2004 resulted in an amazing concentration of flavors – mango, passion fruit, a hint of guava – while retaining the acidity and balance Grgich Hills is known for. Alas, low yields also mean that we produced less of this lovely wine than last year – stock up today!

Grgich Chardonnay Napa 2002 $29.99
Grgich Hills has always been known for its outstanding Chardonnay, and the 2002 vintage only bolsters that reputation. A bouquet of green apple, acacia blossoms, and undertones of minerality. Rich and concentrated with distinctive Chardonnay flavors of Bartlett pears and green apples come to the fore, followed by honey, casaba melon, and lemon drops. These full-bodied flavors and lead into a long, savory, slightly nutty finish. Balanced and complex, this wine is the complete package.

Benziger Chardonnay Carneros 2003 $9.39

This ripe, forward wine shows pineapple and sweet citrus flavors with vanilla and toasted oak aromas which carry into a smooth, silky texture with notes of butter ending in a long finish of spicy apple flavors.

Rodney Strong Sauvignon Blanc Charlottle’s Home 2003 $8.39

Light, crisp, and highly aromatic, the warmer climate Alexander Valley fruit gives the wine ripe pear and melon character, while the ocean cooled Russian River fruit offers citrus, mineral, and traditional herbaceous character.

Beaulieu Vineyards Chardonnay Carneros 2003 $10.39
Strong, fresh apple-citrus aromas with a hint of vanilla. Medium full- bodied, with creamy texture and round, succulent, juicy flavors, this vintage reveals ripe apple fruit combined with hints of green almond and pear in the finish. Moderate acidity heightens the wine’s approachable softness.

Edna Valley Chardonnay San Luis Obispo 2004 $10.39

Edna Valley Pinot Noir San Luis Obispo 2003 $11.59
Shows rich black cherry and strawberry fruit, backed by caramel and vanilla notes, a full, viscous palate, soft tannins and a lingering, smoky finish. Great with food. This wine has so many dimensions and textures, from intense fruit and subtle earthinessto a full, luscious mouthfeel, with soft tannins that don’t compete with food, but complete it.

Buehler Chardonnay Russian River 2003 $8.49
A gentle, elegant, subtle style, with pretty hints of pear, spice and melon, finishing silky and earthy. Impressive for its delicate texture and rich flavors. Spotlights the floral/lime quality of the fruit aromas and accents them with toasty, graham cracker sur-lie qualities. The mouthfeel is creamy and full but the natural acidity of the Russian River fruit carries this velvet textured package to a long, clean finish.
SPAIN

Montecillo Crianza Red 2002 $7.49
100% Tempranillo. Garnet-red color with ruby highlights, deep, clean and brilliant. Complex aromas of mature fruit, perfectly balanced by a touch of oak. Medium-bodied, rich and well structured with a long finish. Excellent balance, big powerful and concentrated flavors with cherry and blackberry hints.

Montecillo Blanco White 2003 $5.29
Pale and golden, clean and brilliant. Intensely fruity and aromatic with notes of pear, green apple and banana. Very smooth, creamy and fresh, with deep fruity flavors. Lively and persistent in the mouth with a light touch of citrus. It is especially enjoyable as an apéritif, and it pairs exceptionally well with all types of white fish, shellfish, paella and pasta.
AUSTRALIA

Green Point Shiraz 2003 $14.39
Aromas of spice, violets and berry with a ripe, soft and elegant palate structure. Aged in French and American barriques for 18 months to add complexity and enhance its excellent varietal character. The palate has the typical rich Shiraz flavor and long finish.
NEW ZEALAND

Villa Maria Private Bin Sauvignon Blanc 2003 $8.99
