Great Pinot Noirs from an excellent California winery.
Year after year, Foxen Pinots get accolades for their great wine, especially
their Pinot Noir. None is more sought after than the very small
production (470 cases) Sea Smoke Pinot Noir.
The Sea Smoke is pricey, but a must-have for serious Pinot drinkers.
Wine Spectator scores it at 92. The press is not out yet from Robert
Parker on the 2009, and it will be sold out before that score is known.
(FYI - He scored the 2008 at 94, the 2007 at 92, and the 2004 at 96).
In addition to Foxen's Sea Smoke, we have their much more affordable
Santa Maria Pinot Noir in stock right now, which scored
89 from the Wine Spectator.
