Hi Everybody!

Here is what is happening at my jewelry site:

*JEWELRY GALLERY RESTRUCTURED
*QUESTION ABOUT PEARLS WITH WIRE WRAPPING
*QUESTION ABOUT HOW TO CONDUCT STORE POLICIES
*QUESTION ABOUT FINE VERSUS STERLING SILVER
*QUESTION ABOUT RUBY RED BUMBLEBEE RING
*QUESTION ABOUT HOLDING A PIECE WHILE WORKING
*ATTACHING A BEAD TO A JUMPRING
*QUESTION ABOUT TINY VERMEIL BEADS
*WILEY WILLFUL WILD WIRE

*TWO NEW TUTORIALS RELEASED and TWO MORE IN THE WORKS
Two brand new tutorials have just been released:
1)	Mini-mosaic earrings. Easy level. These earrings are also known as “Mother’s day earrings” since they are perfect for those occasions when we need to make gifts for friends and family.
2)	Woven Jumprings pendant. Intermediate level. This pendant is constructed with four pairs of jumprings forming an intricate and sturdy piece which can be used for necklaces or earrings. I’ve had this tutorial almost ready for a while, but never found the time to give it the final touches. Finally!

I’m working on two more tutorials to be released the next two weeks.

*JEWELRY GALLERY RESTRUCTURED
I finally revamped and restructured the jewelry gallery, dividing the items per year. I hoe you like the new structure. I am also offering more ready made items for sale and have a lot more to add to the shop.

*QUESTION ABOUT PEARLS WITH WIRE WRAPPING
I got the following question via email:
"I just bought your tutorial for the Mosaic Pendant. I have some pearls I'd like to use, but I'm wondering if wire would rub the nacre off? Are pearls a good idea with wire wrapping?"
Read the answer at my blog here: http://www.enioken.com/journal/2007/05/pearls-with-wire-wrapping.html

*QUESTION ABOUT HOW TO CONDUCT STORE POLICIES
I received the following email about store policies:
"I have a question regarding your store policies. I have some customers that ask me "how secure is wire wrapping?" They are worried that without glue or a screw setting that the jewelry will break more easily. What would your response be to a question like that?

*QUESTION ABOUT FINE VERSUS STERLING SILVER
I received the following question:
"You always mention sterling silver, but, recently, my metal guy suggested that I use fine silver instead, for the wrapping... he said it is less likely to break, and less likely to tarnish, than sterling...... What is your take on that? "

*QUESTION ABOUT RUBY RED BUMBLEBEE RING
I have received lately quite a few emails asking how to make the interesting Ruby Red Ring with bumblebee.
Here is a brief description of how you can adapt the Ornate ring tutorial to make the Ruby Red ring: http://www.enioken.com/journal/2007/05/ruby-red-bumblebee-ring.html

*QUESTION ABOUT HOLDING A PIECE WHILE WORKING
I received the following question:
"I'm just learning wrapping and am using copper wire until I am skilled enough to move on to silver. When I'm wrapping I sometimes hold the piece steady with pliers, but I'm wondering if this is a bad habit to get into...

*ATTACHING A BEAD TO A JUMPRING
As I was going through my old image files, I found an interesting image I created in Photoshop a few years ago, which shows how to attach a bead to a jumpring. This element could be used as a link on a chain, for interest.

*QUESTION ABOUT TINY VERMEIL BEADS
I received the following question regarding tiny vermeil (silver plated with gold) beads:
"I have not found a good wholesale supplier and the wonderful local store that I get them from can only get them sporadically and lately I have had customers complain that the vermeil plating wears off quickly. Do you have any suggestions or leads?"

*WILEY WILLFUL WILD WIRE
I received the following email from Linda -- I think we can ALL relate to it!
"Hi Eni, At first when I was having "control" problems, I started making a list of names to call sterling wire. It helps maintain sanity, and I thought it might give you a giggle.”

Take a break and read the funny names Linda came up with to call the willful wire…
